KOT

The KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) is used to send and display customer order details in the kitchen for preparation. When an order is placed through the POS, the relevant food items are displayed on the Kitchen Display, allowing kitchen staff to view the order and begin preparation.

Steps

Place the required customer order through the POS.

Confirm save KOT

The corresponding KOT is displayed on the Kitchen Display.

Kitchen staff can view the order number, order type, time, items, quantities, and add-ons/modifiers.

Click Start to begin preparing the order.

The KOT moves from New to Processing.

Prepare the items according to the displayed order details.

Once preparation is finished, update the order as Completed.

Verify the completed KOT under the Completed section.
